Jimmy was born and raised in Chicago. After high school he joined the Air Force. Always in love with drawing, he did drawings for people looking to get tattooed. His friends suggested that he start to do the tattoos himself and so he pursued an apprenticeship at a local shop. After 19 years of tattooing he opened his own tattoo shop, Vintage Voodoo Tattoos, Antiques, & Oddities in February of 2019. Jimmy’s favorite tattoo styles are traditional, new school, Japanese, color, and black and gray.

Besides being a Tattoo Artist, Jimmy likes performing magic, traveling, and riding motorcycles. He tries to spend every day doing something different. A few more facts are that he has over 40 tattoos, his favorite movie is Police Academy and his favorite band is Pink Floyd. Jimmy met his Fiancé, Tiffany, and it was love at first sight. She has since become an important part of the day to day operations of the business along with her son, Gabriel. They are set to get married in 2020.
